Surgeons in the Division of Urology at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles are available to assist with the surgical needs of individuals with Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia. In certain patients, hormonal imbalances can lead to alterations in the external genitalia. These alterations can have functional consequences or put the child at risk for urinary tract infections. Our surgeons have particular expertise in dealing with these highly specialized situations. Our goal is to work with families to provide interventions that will ultimately improve the lives of children with CAH and set them up for success in adulthood.
